    There are a number casinos located in the commonwealth, the biggest number being on stationary barges. The biggest of the Iowa gambling halls is the Meswaki Bingo Casino Hotel, a Native American gambling den in Tama, with 127,669 sq.ft. of casino area, 1,500 one armed bandits, 30 table games, such as 21, craps, roulette, and baccarat, and several types of poker; as well as three dining rooms, daily productions, and casino instructions. A further big American Indian casino is the Winna Vegas, with 45,000 square feet, 668 one armed bandits, and 14 table games. Also, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs never closes, with 38,500 square feet, 1,589 slots, 36 table games, and four dining rooms. There are numerous other popular Iowa gambling halls, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 slots, and 39 table games.

    A tinier Iowa casino is the Diamond Jo, a water based gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 slots, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend Riverboat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 slots, and 14 table games. One more Iowa river based gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is available all hours, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 slot machines, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. river boat gambling den in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live productions, and Thursday 21 events.

    Iowa casinos offer an excellent amount of tax money to the state of Iowa, which has allowed the funding of a good many commonwealth wide projects. Vacationers have increased at an accelerated rate along with the request for processors and an increase in employment. Iowa gambling dens have been instrumental to the growth of the market, and the affection for betting in Iowa is absolute.
